With over 4 years on the supper club scene Simon Fernandez is regarded as one of it's pioneers, taking what he learnt from his 30 seater London supper club and applying it to a de-formalised social banquet. ferdiesfoodlab is set in the beautiful Toynbee Hall - a grade II listed building hidden in the east end of central London near Brick Lane. Even better it's bring your own drinks, which helps keep the cost of this 6-8 course banquet down to £45pp.
On the night:
We seat 40-60 on one or two banquet tables, and after a short time in the reception hall with a little bubbly guests - who have all come in varying group sizes - are welcomed into the banquet hall. The seating plan is above the fire place, and once folk are seated the evening commences!! There is no dress code and guests are welcome to move around . . . . you can see guests comments on the blog!! Incidentally we are never going to deliver!! It's about socialising with everyone whose come to the banquet!
